Mission Monday’s: special ops…

Another awesome Monday at Special Ops…

I am so thankful for the opportunity to minister and serve with this amazing ministry.  It is so exciting to see God working within The Wellhouse and the peoples lives that have a heart for Special Ops.  I love that our Monday group has been dubbed, “Special Ops”…

Wikipedia says,

“Special Operations are military operations that are considered “special” (that is, unconventional).

Special operations (SO) are typically performed independently or in conjunction with conventional military operations. The primary goal is to achieve a political or military objective where a conventional force requirement does not exist or might affect the overall strategic outcome. Special operations are usually conducted in a low-profile manner that typically aim to achieve the advantage of speed, surprise, and violence of action against an unsuspecting target. Special ops are typically carried out with limited numbers of highly trained personnel that are able to operate in all environments, utilize self-reliance, are able to easily adapt and overcome obstacles, and use unconventional combat skills and equipment to complete objectives.”

Infuse that definition with God, His power and His will and there couldn’t be a better explanation of what takes place on Monday’s outreach.  If you are not familiar with this ministry, you should definitely take a minute and read their story.  God is using this ministry to rescue those trapped and reach those lost in the Birmingham area and beyond.  Please pray for this ministry and the people who lead, it is an exciting time to be a Christian!

Monday’s we go to the battlefields.
