spaghetti with fresh cherry tomato sauce…

It was overcast…

We decided to take a drive and head to the park to play.

We passed our favorite garden on the side of the road…

“Emma, take a look and see if they have anything good.”

“Momma, she’s got tomatoes, pull over!” {i love her}

So, for lunch…

We wipped up some buttered noodles for the kiddos.

For the big kids {that’s me & Andy}, I washed the cherry tomatoes and set them to the side.  Gathered a little olive oil and sautéed chopped garlic and  halved cherry tomatoes.   Sprinkled with just a little of Jane’s Crazy Salt {my favorite} and fresh chopped basil from our garden.  Cooked just long enough for the tomatoes to absorb all the goody!  Spooned the fresh cherry tomato sauce over the spaghetti and sat down to enjoy…

Wait!  Cheese!  Fresh grated Parmigiano!  Yummy!

Oh no…  no cheese.

You know what they say…

It’s bettah with feta!

And a little basil from my garden!

A slice of bread with {real} butter to soak up all the good stuff!

{I’ll tell you about my experience with butter later…  I’m hooked on butter, real butter.}

I have to say that this was super simple and super delicious.

Nothing like the summertime!
