31 Days of Inspiration…Day 31

31 Days of INSPIRATION…

{DAY 31}

Be INSPIRED to be DIFFERENT during the holiday season!

Well, would you believe it has been 31 days!  TOMORROW is NOVEMBER!  I know… it’s just insane how time flies.  You just about can’t blink and the days are  gone.  I loved reading Joy’s thoughts and what inspires her during this beautiful time of year.  I especially loved this past weekends edition and reading about her love for family, food and fellowship.  So many ties bind our friendship.  We have always been a part of each others lives and I have just been so blessed by our friendship.  But it is in this season of our lives… raising children, building and tending to our homes,  growing in our marriage… that our friendship has just blossomed.

I hope that during this time of year, in the middle of the parties, decorating, cooking, preparing, getting from here to there, you slow down enough to look around and enjoy all of God’s BLESSINGS.   HE is everywhere… {even on Pinterest} look for Him… BE INSPIRED by HIS BEAUTY IN ALL THINGS.  May God bless you, your family, your hands, your tables…

Before I sign off on our little 31 Days of INSPIRATION… let me leave you with one more…

Holidays are all about traditions and boy am I ALL about traditions!  But if it takes you doing things a little differently in order for you to actually enjoy this beautiful time of year… be inspired to do things differently!  When you think of Thanksgiving, you think of the BIG dinner, the BIG turkey…  Well, when my family thinks of Thanksgiving, we think of EGGS, Mee Maw’s GRAVY & BISCUIT and Red-Eye gravy,  heaping piles of THICK bacon {from chewy to crispy},  breakfast casserole, ORANGE JUICE {no pulp to LOTS of pulp}…  We PILE around my kitchen table and give thanks through laughter and smiles over the grandest  Thanksgiving BREAKFAST!  No TURKEY… ALL breakfast!  It’s delicious!  {And I don’t have to take anyone away from other dinners on  our Thanksgiving day.  {Of course, I have no idea how they will make room for turkey at dinner time after ALL that gravy & biscuits!}  SO, be inspired to try something different, if it means you just might be able to enjoy things EVERYONE!    I think it’s OKAY to not have turkey!  As long as your with your family and enjoying this time of THANKSGIVING!

{ I wish I had a picture of all the delicious food!  But,  before I can think to grab my camera… it’s ALL gone!  Mental NOTE: take picture of food for you guys!}

Be THANKFUL!  Be BLESSED! And be INSPIRED to be unconventional… to ENJOY!

Hope you all are LOVING  this amazing time of year!  Happy Fall!

Natalie
